On the 29th of this month, an Online media house reported that Phyno's song I'M A FAN was stolen by pop musician Pia who is an American singer; listening to the song you definitely hear the
similarities that exist in both songs and how they share the same hook up. Phyno's version came out 6 months ago back in 2016 when he dropped his studio album while Pia's came out late this month. A lot of Nigerians have come out to share their disappointment on why the song was stolen especially in
such obvious manner, but looking deep into the situation there is a lot of unanswered questions. Firstly we haven't really heard Phyno or any member of his camp address this issue directly and also
contacing Pia and her team to express their disappointment this only leaves one puzzled as to what is going on. Shortly after this story was out on the net, another online media house brought up a more subtle version of what happened and how it all balls down to a mutual producer between Pia and
Phyno by the name Remo. But swiftly Phyno had a jab on them and threatened fire and brine-stone on the journalist who made the post and in there lies the second question, if he was so swift on
shutting down that post, why then hasn't he properly stated what really went wrong, and tell us directly if the song was stolen? questions that linger in our minds. Word haven't been heard yet from
the American pop artist who made her version from it or Remo but one thing is sure that sooner or later the story will unfold.
