Billionaire kidnapper Evans has sued the Nigerian Police for illegally detaining him with out charging him to court. It was reported that he has asked for his immediate release from the police custody in the absence of any offense that warrants his being charged to court. His counsel Olukoya
Ogungbeje on behalf of the suspected kidnapper has asked for his client to be immediately charged to court if there is any offense against him in accordance with Sections 35 (1) (c) (3) (4) (5) (a) (b) and 36 of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria or be otherwise released from their custody.
