A 45 year old man by the name of Adamu Aminu was arraigned in an Ebute Ebute Metta Chief Magistrates’ Court on the count of Impersonating the Deputy Governor of Lagos state, Dr. Idiat Adebule and defrauding a Mr. Bright Obed the sum of 1million
naira in pretense of the money to be donated to an Orphanage. Mr Adamu Aminu pleaded not guilty to the allegations leveled against him. Mr Adamu was able to carry out the act using a Facebook
account that impersonated the Deputy governor of Lagos state. He was however granted bail of N300,000 with two sureties in like sum, by Chief Magistrate Oluyemisi Adelaja.
