The leader of the Independent People Of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu has gone into hiding after the Nigerian Military reportedly invaded his home town and also his house in an alleged attempt to arrest him. According to Members of the secessionist group, Kanu
was advised to go into hiding so as to avoid being re-arrested and tried for terrorism as the group has been named a militant terrorist group.
