"ASSIST" as some people will say or to "SWINDLE" contrary to others belief that they are Ponzi schemes. Now lets critically analyze these thoughts by various Nigerians and come up with our own conclusion.
First we ask ourselves what a Ponzi scheme is? a Ponzi scheme is an investment swindle in which some early investors are paid off with money put up by later ones in order to encourage more and bigger risks (Merriam-Webster dictionary). Because its a swindle the organizers of such scheme will have the money in hand as profit.
Now lets analyze what Icharity is about. Icharity is a peer-peer donation system in which members donate directly to one another i.e directly to each others account without the interference of the admins of the site. In other to register for Icharity, a user will have to pay the sum of #6,000 or $20 to
his or her Uplines account, the upline then confirms the payment and the user is then given the go ahead to be an active member which comes with a referral link that the user can then use to invite more people. Its better viewed as an ad affiliation program but with greater revenue or better still,
look at it as a cooperative donation system just like the ones that where did much earlier in the likes of isusu, Ajo, Adachi and what ever name you know them as where a collective set of people will
contribute a certain amount of money from their monthly revenue to the group and one turn after the other each member takes the whole share contributed at a particular time e.g monthly or quarterly. Now thats how you should view icharity and its likes it should never be confused for a business because it is not a business neither are you investing. It is simply a meeting were people contribute to assist one another.
After you view it this way the purpose will become clearer and these various misconceptions about icharity, mmm, ultimate cycler and the likes will cease to exist. Now that said and cleared, these are the various stages in joining icharity.
