Various Nigerian blogs across the country made claims that Modenine was insinuating that Jay-z stole his song from 2008 My Skin is Black and made a version which was released in his 4:44 album The Story Of O.J. Modenine has come out to disperse such claims as he said that was not what he
was insinuating. Listen carefully to the video shared on Instagram by the Iconic Nigerian Rapper it didn't seem like he accussed Jay-Z of song theft but he was rather excited that he had an idea of sampling a Ninasimone song in 2008 which Jay-Z now had that vision to do the same all the way in 2017. If the video insinuates anything at all it is that he is far ahead in the game than most.
