JOURNEY OF JACK DORSEY (CEO OF TWITTER) AS HE VISITS NIGERIA (PICTURES)

It is no longer news that the CEO and co-founder of Twitter Jack Dorsey is currently in Nigeria and he has been visiting tech experts and entrepreneurs in the country. He stopped at CC Hub, an open living lab for entrepreneurs, investors, tech companies and hackers in and around Lagos where he was welcomed by Bosun Tijani

He was also presented with a mixed reality art work of him self at CC Hub.

As part of his visit, Jack had a Q&A session with startups from CC Hub where he learnt about their work and shared his experience on building Twitter and Square.

Jack also went ahead to address students and staff from the University of Lagos, were he was also engaged with questions.

Jack was presented with a Plaque by the university as well as picture souvenirs.

Twitter team, Sierra and the Chief  Technology Officer of Twitter Parag Agrawal were shown the official Twitter handle by the Vice Chancellor, perhaps for a bargain to get verified, while Jack posed for a picture with the Director of the Centre for Information Technology and Systems, Unilag and Dr. Sennaike, Head, Computer Science Dpt.

Jack Dorsey and his team also had a stop at one of the largest developer community in Nigeria, where else but Andela.

He started out with a tour of the Andela office, led by Seni Sulyman, the Vice President of Global Ops and Remi Dada, the CEO of Spacefinish the company that designed Andela's Nigeria office.

After the tour of the Andela office space, the Andela team had a round talk with Jack Dorsey and his team.

Jack Dorsey also had a talk with Andela's Senior Software Engineers Yasky, Olaide Agboola, Temi Jumoke about most likely you know, coding stuffs.

Jack Dorsey also had a quick stop at Techpoint Africa, a technology media house, were he met with a lot of tech guys.

Highlight of the night was when Dara Tobi, creator of Quotedreplies that helps you see replies for Quoted tweets that are not yours by just simply typing @QuotedReplies or by installing the app.

The founder of @QuotedReplies just got a job offer with Twitter. The announcement was made at the meeting with media and tech entrepreneurs in Lagos.
