HOW TO MIGRATE TO CANADA EASILY

A lot of Nigerians have recently being migrating to Canada of recent times and it is no surprise  why that is so.

Canada is willing to accept law abiding immigrants into their country and recently they announced their plan to accept more than 1 million immigrants in the next three years which the year started at 2019, so you still have time to apply and be part of the lucky people to get a permanent residency in Canada.

You might be wondering how though do i apply to Canada, well there are several ways and i will be listing out your best possible choices.

Express Entry: Express entry is a program by the Canadian government to accept skilled workers into their country to come and work.

You must have at least 12 months of relevant work experience in a job before you can be eligible for this program.

When you apply for this program, you are ranked according to your age, education, work experience, and language abilities, and then the best candidates are selected to come to Canada. Express Entry also allows workers to bring their family members.

It boasts of the fastest processing time as about 80% of the candidates are processed within 4 months or even less. Express Entry is an application management system for three major Canadian economic immigration programs:

• Federal Skilled Worker (FSW): If you are a skilled worker with the necessary requirements and want to migrate to Canada from your country to be a permanent resident there.
• Federal Skilled Trades (FST): If you are involved in skilled trade and have the relevant experience.
• Canadian Experience Class (CEC): If you have worked in Canada before for a period of at least 12 months.

First thing to do if you are eligible to apply is to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) which is a form containing details of your education, relevant experience, marital status, English proficiency etc. 

These details are then used to calculate your Comprehensive Ranking System score (CRS). Based on how your score does, you will be sent an invitations to apply (ITAs) for Canadian permanent residence.

Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs): Asides Express Entry, another fast way of getting into Canada is by getting nominated by a Province. 

A Province in Canada is what you will liking to a state in Nigeria. If you get nominated by a Province, your chances entering Canada are even higher. 

You get an automatic 600 CRS point if you are nominated by a province. Provinces will usually nominate you based on your skills demand in their Province. For example, the province of Saskatchewan recently changed its PNP to nominate more computer programmers. 

There are nearly 80 different PNPs across Canada, each with its own set of eligibility requirements. If you’re eligible for just one of them, that could be your ticket to Canada!.

Become an International Student: This is a common one we all know, if you want to study in Canada, you can apply for a student visa and go into Canada for studies. In Canada, it is very easy to apply for permanent immigration after their study has ended.

For this reason, many newcomers choose to start their immigration journey by studying in Canada, and then apply for permanent residents status later!. 

In as much as you meet the requirements for studying in Canada such as passing your English tests, having enough money for tuition and having a valid certificate, then you are good to go. 

The Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program (AIP): Before applying for this, you have to remember that this region is very cold, but where isn't cold in Canada? This program allow employers in the Atlantic region of Canada.
