A 20 year old woman has been apprehended by the Imo state police command for allegedly exchanging her 2months old baby for the sum of 200,000 Naira, a half bag of rice and some chairs. According to the mother she had to do it as her child was malnourished and she had no man to carter for her and her baby.
The people who paid for the baby paid a middle man by the name Chidinma Unakalamba the sum of 700,000 naira for the infant who then gave the mother 200,000 naira and a half bag of rice.
