In the early hours of noon at about 1pm while i sat in the office trying to solve a problem with my boss, suddenly i heard siren of various vehicles moving past the busy Mission road at first it seemed another top government official was making his way through for an important occassion or visit but then i noticed
something the vehicles where all white with a green circular inscription on them. I tried to get what it read but my attention was divided between my boss and the moving vehicles; these where just too much aides for even the President of the country. I noticed Power bikes also with men fully kitted from head to toe then something hit me this vehicles look like the dreaded LASTMA(Lagos State Traffic Management ) then finally the answer was revealed, Edo state now has its own Traffic Management Agency known as EDSTMA(Edo State Traffic
Control and Management Agency ) things has just gotten heated up in the lawless state of Edo, the governor really means business when it comes to organisation of the state as he has done ever since he resumed duties as the governor. Similar to how Oshodi in Lagos was cleared an organised properly, the governor of Edo state has
done likewise with the heart of Benin City, the capital of the place, a place called ring road which he cleared to the amusement of everyone, a feat his predecessor could not achieve. Is this the dawn of a new era of the state? are we headed in the right direction as Lagos? well as for my thoughts i believe so, the governor really
,means business and this new development of this agency he has added will go a long way to discipline the carefree state as it is what is needed.
