Nigerian sex workers have said that if the strike should continue, that most female students in the country will resort to prostitution as a means to an end. They further went on to say that female
students already engaged in runs, and with the strike, the situation will only worsen as sex workers will double. They urge the government to end the strike because if students are left idle, then the government is indirectly telling them to go to the streets.
