Its no news that the richest man in Africa, and the richest black in the world Aliko Dangote is interested in buying London club Arsenal from its owners. He made his intentions known a while back that he would love to buy the club and he has recently declared those intentions after he made comments in an interview with Bloomberg:
"The first thing I would change is the coach. He has done a good job, but someone else should also try his luck.’ ‘If they get the right offer, I’m sure they would walk away. Someone will give them an offer that will make them seriously consider walking away.
And when we finish the refinery, I think we will be in a position to do that. It’s a great team, well-run. It could be run better, so I will be there. I will wait. Even if things change I will take it.’"He said.
He made it known that his recent refinery under construction is what is holding him back from making the deal and once the refinery has been completed, he will make an offer that they will have to accept and once he gets the club he is going to sack it's current manager Arsene Wenger who he believes has done a great job, but feels someone else should also be given a chance.
