These two Nigerians Wisdom and Osas came up with an idea to sweep the streets of Italy because of the difficulties involved in getting a decent job over there, while they sweep the streets they get donated money from people who appreciate what they are doing. They decided to do this because they did not want to go
begging in the streets of Italy. According to them, there are more than 300 Nigerian guys sweeping the streets.
This is what they said according to an interview they had with BBC:
‘We’ve been in Italy for nine months and decided to sweep the streets rather than remaining idle in the migrant camp. There are more than 300 Nigerian guys sweeping the streets as people give them money to appreciate their work. ‘
