During an interview with the Beatz FM in Lagos, Up to Something crooner, Iyanya revealed he is no longer part of the Mavin record label which is owned by Don Jazzy. He was signed about a year ago into the record label after he left his label Triple MG. Under
Mavin he released hit singles, one being Up to Something. According to him “I’m now signed to Temple Music but I’m a Mavin for life. It was not a beef. I was there and it was time to move on”. He is now signed to Temple Music.
