According to LIB, Africa's richest woman Mrs Folorunsho Alakija is the most expensive building in West Africa, if not Africa. Famfa Towers is currently being built on Alfred Rewane Road in Ikoyi Lagos. It is a 22 floor edifice that will cost $165 million and it is said that she is financing the
projects herself without loans from any financial institutions or sponsors. Over N6billion has already been pumped into Famfa Towers as building begins. The one-of-kind Tower will be used for commercial purposes. The last five floors is said to be for Mrs Alakija's personal use, possibly for her office and the rest will be rented out.
