Just immediately after we got our Independence from the British, Nigeria was a booming economy with very high potentials. We just had our on currency which was the naira, our own flag and national anthem. The excitement was beyond ecstatic and the economy flourished after all goods where relatively cheap and affordable. But then greed came into our politicians like the forbidden fruit, and corruption became the order of the day.
