NIGERIANS REACT AS AIDE TO PRESIDENT BUHARI SAYS HE IS A PRIVATE CITIZEN

The personal assistant to the president on Social media, Lauretta Onochie was recently on Channels tv when she was faced with questions about the presidents health status and the Resume or Resign protest headed by Charly Boy. According to her, the President is a private citizen and as such it is disrespectful to ask for his health status. 


This is what she said:

“It is very insensitive of anyone to begin to call on someone who is unwell to resume. Governance is going on, the role of the President is that of coordination; governance is a collective duty. When he (Buhari) was leaving, power was fully transferred to the Vice President and today, we have an Acting President,”

Nigerians did not agree with her and they have taking to the usual medium, social media to voice out their opinions.
