The Academic Staff Union of Universities have suspended their one month old strike till on the end of October if eventually the Federal government fails to fulfill the request by the organisation.
According to the president of the union, Professor Biodun Ogunyemi, the strike which began on the 14th of August 2017 will be suspended in other for the government to fulfill its promises,
but failure to fulfill the agreement would result in the resumption of the strike.
