Nigerian Dance-hall act, Burna Boy has revealed that he wrote about five songs for Drake that was sent to the Canadian rapper to choose from and feature on his album, More Life. He said this
during the listening party of his forthcoming album titled Outside which held on Sunday January 21st, 2017 at the We´re´ House in Lagos. According to him, he worked so hard to ensure that he only dished out quality songs for the project.

from his original that he sent. Burna Boy never got any credit through the album even though he had made so much effort towards the project. Not even a recognition on the song More Life
or Get It Together where his vocals where sampled. which was a remake of South African DJ, Black Coffee, and Bucie’s 2010 single Superman.
“They told me they had picked it, but when the song came out it was…chopped.” Burna Boy said in regards to his More Life song. Burna Boy however said he has moved on from that episode
and stated that the original version of the More Life song he wrote would be on his forthcoming album “Outside,” which is set for release on January 26th, 2018. A lot of Nigerians are disappointed with the way Drake is treating African artist, and Nigerians in particular. They took on to twitter to voice their thoughts.
