ISRAEL ADESANYA DEFEATS ROBERT WHITTAKER TO CLAIM UFC MIDDLEWEIGHT CROWN

Israel wins Whittaker by a Knockout

Nigerian born, but New Zealand trained UFC fighter Israel Adesanya has defeated Robert Whittaker to claim the middleweight crown of the division.

Israel who has been undefeated in all his professional career with stats of 18-0 looked confident and calm as he brought down Robert who was more attacking through out the fight.

Israel know as the last style bender once again proved his name as he displayed a variety of skills to bring Robert down. Initially he brought Robert down in the first round and was going for the kill before the buzzer sounded which saved Robert, but the second round saw Robert being brought down again with two punch combos from the 30 year old, 185 pounds Israel.

Following his victory, Adesanya was quick to call his next shot. Adesanya called out undefeated Paulo Costa -- including throwing a pro wrestling-style crotch chop at the Brazilian star.
