The co-founder of Alibbaba, a Chinese e-commerce platform Jack Ma is in Nigeria. He came for the 2019 Nigeria Digital Economy Summit (NDES). He was received by the Vice President of the country Professor Osinbanjo.

The summit is intended to hold on the 15th and 16th of November. According to Jack Ma during the summit, he believes that the government should support entrepreneurship and build infrastructures that will empower them.
Jack Ma also talked about how he started Alibaba, stating that believing in yourself is first, then also to have smart people in your team to help you solve problems. After the whole business of the day, there was also an after dinner cocktail gathering.
