Nigerian Afro Fusion musician as he would fondly call himself, Burna Boy has just scoped a nomination for Best World Music Album at the 62nd Grammy for his album Africa Giant which was released earlier this year other artists nominated for this award include Altin Gun for GECE, Agelique Kidjo (CELIA), Bokante & Metropole Orkest (WHAT HEAT), Nathalie Joachim (FANM D'AYITI).
Burna Boy has really had a good year and has already scoped a BET awards for Best International act, an MTV EMA award for Best African Act, and several Nigerian awards including Headies. He recently sold out the SSE Wembley Arena in London, you can read that story here.
With all these achievements, it is safe to say that Burna Boy has been the biggest act in Africa for this year and hopefully he brings home the Grammy.
