Rema!

New artist signed to Mavin records, Rema has being making a lot of wave since he got signed into the record label and started making music.

The 19 year old has dropped hits back to back, doing what a lot of artist have not done before, churning them out in EP's rather than singles. Rema whose real name is Divine Ikubor hails from Benin city, Edo state, his mum is from Owerri while his Dad was from Benin City.

He studied at Ighile Group of schools, a fairly known school in Benin City along Ekenwan road, a major road in Benin City. He attends Christ Embassy where he started out performing in a group back then . Rema and his partner Alpha P formed a group known as RNA and started working together.

They both auditioned for a talent show in Benin known as the Pikolo's Dream Alive talent show and won which later got them a record deal at Peak Entertainment in which shortly they released their hit single Mercy.

Rema got a major spot in media when at 17 years he bought his mum a Lexus SUV. After their single Mercy, they went on performing on shows and dropping songs and went on to drop arguably their best single Starboy.

Rema was known to be a playful kid back in school who loved music a lot. At a point in his life at a young age he relocated to Ghana where according to him he made a lot of "bread". He later returned back to Benin which probably then he bought his mum the SUV.  He is now a big artist signed under Jonzing and Mavin and he is currently working in the USA with some producers.
