FIND OUT HOW TO LINK YOUR SIM NUMBER TO YOUR NIN

December 19, 2020

The Nigerian government has given an instruction to network providers to block any line who fails to link their  National Identity Number (NIN) to their SIM. This information brought a lot of concerns as it seemed we had to be physically present at a network providers outlet or office before the linking can be done.

Thankfully, network providers have provided an easy way to perform this linking using USSD codes or by sending a message in a particular format.

This post aims at showing you how this linking can be done. Remember this can only be done if you already have your NIN. If you do not, then you have to get your NIN from an NIMC office close to you.

MTN subscribers: If you are using MTN, simply dial *785#Your NIN# from the phone number you wish to link. You can also check your status to determine of the number has been linked by dialing *346# on your phone.

Airtel subcribers: For Airtel subscribers, simply dial *121*1#. You will then be prompted to insert your NIN number, Do so and submit. Once that is done you will get a success message. If you do not know your NIN number, simply dial *346#

Glo subscribers:  For Glo subscribers, you can link your NIN to your  phone number by simply sending an SMS in the format UPDATENIN, your NIN number, First name, Last name to 109.

9Mobile: 9Mobile is yet to provide an easy means on how to link your NIN to your phone number. According to them they are looking for a simple way to carry out this process. For updates, you can follow up on them here 9mobile.com.ng

WHY NIGERIAN MEN ARE LOVED OUTSIDE THAN THEIR COUNTERPARTS

May 23, 2020

Nigerian man and oyibo

Recently on Twitter, a debate broke out about how Nigerian ladies are reluctant to travel out of the country because they fear they might not be able to get a man to marry on time.

Surprisingly some ladies agreed to this but the men couldn't relate with such experience as they are really loved by females of other countries.

Nigerian woman and her oyibo husband

Infact some men feel like treasures over there, some even say you won't know your real worth as a Nigerian man until you travel out of the country.

But how true is this and why is this so. Well for starters, based on testimonies gotten from people on Twitter and also based on experience I will agree to this.

Nigerian man and his white girlfriend

As for the reason why this happen, one which stands out is that Nigerian men are caring and know how to chase and take care of a lady.

This has made them stand above their counterparts in the dating game and gets them attracted to women abroad. Another thing is Nigerian men are hardworking.

Nigerian lady and her oyibo husband

The average Nigerian man sees it as his responsibility to pay the bills and be the head of the home and irrespective of feminism in the western world, it could be that ladies love such men than the ones who would be dependent on them.

Which reminds me of a Korean movie titled Hitman Agent Jun were the husband was dependent on the wife for a while and he received so much disrespectful until he finally had his break through, but that's way out of topic, so let's leave that aside.

So there are my reasons. But for the Nigerian woman, same cannot be said. Some reports say men outside the country avoid Nigerian women because they feel too entitled, well could this be true?

You decide on that. And they find it hard dating a Nigerian man because that Nigerian man is trying to secure his stay over there hence he likely goes for a native of that country.

Howbeit may, one thing is obvious, Nigerian men are treasured out there and if you have plans to travel then don't be worried as you will be able to get a wife.

HOW TO MAKE A FRUIT SMOOTHIE WHILE AT HOME

March 31, 2020

Firstly a smoothie is a thick liquid substance made from fruits, vegetables, sometimes milk or yogurt etc using a blender and it can be served chilled.

Here i will show you how you can make your own simple smoothie right in your house with easy things you can get from anywhere, but ensure you have a working blender lest the whole process would be almost impossible to achieve.

Ingredients
  1. You need fresh fruits of your choice, here you can play with what you want to make, they could be bananas, strawberries, mango, citrus fruits or a mixture of all. Dice the fruits that needs to be diced properly into sizes that would be easy to blend.
  2. You need the right amount of liquid depending on the quantity you want to make and they could be juice or milk, i think milk should give it a nice creamy edge.
  3. Optionally if you have yogurt, you can add that as well.
  4. Optionally as well, you can add a little bit of sugar, but i think honey would be better.

Making It

All you have to do is place all the items into a blender and gently blend until you have a nicely thick liquid. So it's that easy, you can then pour it into a glass cup and chill in a refrigerator if you want to. If you want to experiment with the recipe, you can add some chocolate toppings and some berries to the already blended smoothie, or you can even add chocolates and blend as well with the fruits at the initial stage.

So there you have it, a nice smoothie that you can make and enjoy right in the comfort of your home.

DATING TIPS, HOW TO WOO A NAIJA BABE

February 08, 2020

Dating a Naija babe can be really stressful these days, especially when you are trying to get the attention of one who has a misconception of what feminism is but not to worry as we are going to give you tips on how to woo and date a Naija babe.

There is a common narrative that Nigerian girls like bad boys but i don't think that is entirely true, what i believe a girl likes is a confident guy and we know a lot of "bad boys" possess this quality. So first tip to wooing a Nigeria babe is to be Confident. A lot of girls love that. Another thing Nigerian girls like is a funny guy.

Naija babes love to have a good laugh and we the way this country can frustrate you, being funny can really make any girl ease up to you i mean check out a lot of Nigerian comedians na, they get married to very beautiful ladies. But in being funny you have to be careful not to cross the line of being irritating. Some folks think they are funny but end up being irritating to listen too.

So second to is Be Funny. A lot of Naija babes hardly go out, maybe it is due to our cultural values which sometimes limit women, so you guessed this right, take her out to simple places, parks, nice eateries, go watch a movie together, go swimming etc.

A lot of naija babes will warm up to this. Don't be the stingy type, take her out! so third tip is Taking Her Out. Have you ever noticed how Naija babes love that good singer back in secondary school days? well yeah girls love guys that can sing, so if you have the skills and please be very sure you do then sing to your lady, she will love it. So that's another tip, Sing Lovely Songs to Her.

Now to Dating, there's no one key to dating girls, since every girl is different. What impresses one girl may repel another, but that's just a chance you'll have to take when you hit the dating scene. When dating a Nigerian babe, always try to have things figured out, not monetary but having a sense of direction.

Be gentle to her and listen to her opinions, i believe Nigerian babes love to be heard out. Don't and i repeat don't be a player. I believe Nigerian babes can't deal with a guy that's every where. So compassion and care for her, try to be a support system for her, advice her and let her know how much she means to you.

Give her the respect she deserves and once in a while take her to good places or just surprise her with something. Try calling her from time to time, and introduce her to your friends, let her know you are not ashamed of her in public. Try not to get her paranoid and just be there for her.

So there you have it, my tips on Dating and Wooing a Naija babe
