MTN Foundation Scholarships: This scholarship is a fully funded one by MTN a telecommunications company in Nigeria. HOW TO MIGRATE TO CANADA EASILY

A lot of Nigerians have recently being migrating to Canada of recent times and it is no surprise  why that is so.

Canada is willing to accept law abiding immigrants into their country and recently they announced their plan to accept more than 1 million immigrants in the next three years which the year started at 2019, so you still have time to apply and be part of the lucky people to get a permanent residency in Canada.

Express Entry: Express entry is a program by the Canadian government to accept skilled workers into their country to come and work.

You must have at least 12 months of relevant work experience in a job before you can be eligible for this program.

When you apply for this program, you are ranked according to your age, education, work experience, and language abilities, and then the best candidates are selected to come to Canada. Express Entry also allows workers to bring their family members.

It boasts of the fastest processing time as about 80% of the candidates are processed within 4 months or even less. Express Entry is an application management system for three major Canadian economic immigration programs:


  • Federal Skilled Worker (FSW): If you are a skilled worker with the necessary requirements and want to migrate to Canada from your country to be a permanent resident there.
  • Federal Skilled Trades (FST): If you are involved in skilled trade and have the relevant experience.
  • Canadian Experience Class (CEC): If you have worked in Canada before for a period of at least 12 months.
First thing to do if you are eligible to apply is to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) which is a form containing details of your education, relevant experience, marital status, English proficiency etc. 

These details are then used to calculate your Comprehensive Ranking System score (CRS). Based on how your score does, you will be sent an invitations to apply (ITAs) for Canadian permanent residence.

You get an automatic 600 CRS point if you are nominated by a province. Provinces will usually nominate you based on your skills demand in their Province. For example, the province of Saskatchewan recently changed its PNP to nominate more computer programmers.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announce they are leaving their roles as senior members of the Royal Family

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have announced that they will be leaving their role as senior members of the Royal Family.

The couples also revealed that they will be splitting their time between Canada and Britain. According to the royal couple, the decision which came after several months of reflection and internal discussions will enable them work to become financially independent.

The statement released by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex reads;

“After many months of reflection and internal discussions, we have chosen to make a transition this year in starting to carve out a progressive new role within this institution.

IRAN FIRES BALLISTIC MISSILES AT US AIRBASE

Iran has fired about a dozen ballistic missiles targeting a US base in Iraq, but sources say that the missiles missed and no casualties from the US base have been reported although there might be collateral damage to Iraqis from the missiles fired. IRAN IDENTIFIES 35 POTENTIAL US TARGETS AS A FORM OF RETALIATION

The Iranian government has identified at least 35 potential US targets as a retaliation to the death of the General, Qasem Sulaimani by an American air strike.

The president of Iran Hassan Rouhani has said there would be a retaliation and his threat has been confirmed by General Gholamli Abuhamzeh, the commander of the Revolutionary Guards in the southern province of Kerman. Targets identified by Iran include ships, Tel Aviv etc


According to a senior congressional staffer, a retaliation attack could be seen within weeks either home or abroad, as he said to Time magazine.

According to our very own Chimamanda Adiche, "Feminist: a person who believes in the social, political and economic equality of the sexes." Over time feminism took different meanings by different people, with some believing that feminism only favored whites, middle class and educated women which then led some people to identify as being a black feminist while others took a name called intersectional feminism.



Even extremist started getting created under feminism and they displayed total hatred for men with some even wishing death and suffering for their male counterparts. This led to a lot of controversies and a total flaw of the idea of feminism as the definition above suggested and drifted more into misandry which is the hatred for men and boys.

Due to this , a new trend has started which a some feminist are beginning to identify themselves with and it is called Egalitarianism, which is a concept that talks about the equality of sexes in a variety of areas, be it political, social etc.

According to Wikipedia, "Egalitarianism (from French égal, meaning 'equal'), or equalitarianism,[1][2] is a school of thought within political philosophy that prioritizes equality for all people.[3] Egalitarian doctrines are generally characterized by the idea that all humans are equal in fundamental worth or moral status.["

Although the term is currently trending, it is not a new word as it was first used in the 1880's. It is hard to some times determine what area of equality as it can sphere across a lot of areas that is why Egalitarianism is sometimes known as a protean idea.
