        We currently had a one on one chat with the current Miss Personality 2021 from the just concluded Miss Congeniality Oloyede Omolola. She's a mathematics student of FUNAAB and she doubles as a fashion designer and model. She resides in Ibadan. The beautiful lady who has a striking resemblance to Ceec, Erica and Tems had this to say as we had a chat on her experience so far after winning the award for Miss Personality 2021.

Have you always wanted to be in a pageant or it just happened?

I have always wanted to come.


Did you have any doubts of winning a crown while contesting?

Sure it’s a competition you dunno what to expect.


Generally how was the experience like living with other girls in the same space?

Hmmm normal,it wasn’t easy though but in everything you have to be tolerant.


How did you feel when you where won miss personality?

I felt excited it’s an honor though.

What has been your experience so far since winning miss personality?

Well I just feel am not really free anymore some people kind of recognize me and expect a lot from Been an ambassador of a brand there are many things expected of you by the way So you know it actually seem like a responsibility.


Do people often tell you how much you look like Ceec?

Yeah but they also tag me with Erica and my recent pics was tagged with Tems.


What's your beauty routine like, what keeps your skin glowing?

Well am just a natural person just bathing and all.

How do you define your style and what's your most likeable outfit?

Always classy,I dunno but I just always wanna stand out,Well well well I would go for a short gown anytime I kind of feel very comfy in it.


What's your fashion must have?

Lots of white dress,Blazer,Sneakers,heels,jeans,a shirt dress,a light weight scarf,denim,tops,round necks and few other things.


What tips would you give girls who want to compete for a beauty pageant?

Just be yourself and most importantly,Pageant is not only about beauty it deal with brain also just be wise and cautious in everything you do.Every woman is a queen just choose the kind of queen you wanna be

Did you have any challenges before and during contesting?

Definitely it was hard confusing people to vote and support me,it was even harder seeing people putting all their effort while I was way behind and yeah it seemed like everyone else was better than me that’s all though.

Recently on Twitter, a debate broke out about how Nigerian ladies are reluctant to travel out of the country because they fear they might not be able to get a man to marry on time. 

Surprisingly some ladies agreed to this but the men couldn't relate with such experience as they are really loved by females of other countries.

 Infact some men feel like treasures over there, some even say you won't know your real worth as a Nigerian man until you travel out of the country. 

But how true is this and why is this so. Well for starters, based on testimonies gotten from people on Twitter and also based on experience I will agree to this.

 As for the reason why this happen, one which stands out is that Nigerian men are caring and know how to chase and take care of a lady.

 This has made them stand above their counterparts in the dating game and gets them attracted to women abroad. Another thing is Nigerian men are hardworking.

 The average Nigerian man sees it as his responsibility to pay the bills and be the head of the home and irrespective of feminism in the western world, it could be that ladies love such men than the ones who would be dependent on them.

 Which reminds me of a Korean movie titled Hitman Agent Jun were the husband was dependent on the wife for a while and he received so much disrespectful until he finally had his break through, but that's way out of topic, so let's leave that aside.

 So there are my reasons. But for the Nigerian woman, same cannot be said. Some reports say men outside the country avoid Nigerian women because they feel too entitled, well could this be true?

 You decide on that. And they find it hard dating a Nigerian man because that Nigerian man is trying to secure his stay over there hence he likely goes for a native of that country.

 Howbeit may, one thing is obvious, Nigerian men are treasured out there and if you have plans to travel then don't be worried as you will be able to get a wife.

HOW TO MAKE A FRUIT SMOOTHIE WHILE AT HOME

Firstly a smoothie is a thick liquid substance made from fruits, vegetables, sometimes milk or yogurt etc using a blender and it can be served chilled.

Here i will show you how you can make your own simple smoothie right in your house with easy things you can get from anywhere, but ensure you have a working blender lest the whole process would be almost impossible to achieve.



Ingredients
  1. You need fresh fruits of your choice, here you can play with what you want to make, they could be bananas, strawberries, mango, citrus fruits or a mixture of all. Dice the fruits that needs to be diced properly into sizes that would be easy to blend. 
  2. You need the right amount of liquid depending on the quantity you want to make and they could be juice or milk, i think milk should give it a nice creamy edge.
  3. Optionally if you have yogurt, you can add that as well.
  4. Optionally as well, you can add a little bit of sugar, but i think honey would be better. 



Making It

All you have to do is place all the items into a blender and gently blend until you have a nicely thick liquid. So it's that easy, you can then pour it into a glass cup and chill in a refrigerator if you want to. If you want to experiment with the recipe, you can add some chocolate toppings and some berries to the already blended smoothie, or you can even add chocolates and blend as well with the fruits at the initial stage.


So there you have it, a nice smoothie that you can make and enjoy right in the comfort of your home.

Baking cakes has become a lucrative business and sometimes a good side hustle for a lot of Nigerians. The very first step is to get training on how to bake and decorate a cake for all occasions. One of such places where you can learn this is a place called The Cake Chancery at Ibadan.

It is owned by a renowned baker Nike who started out small but is now a Cake Boss. Her handle on Twitter is @TheCakeChancery . Once you have gotten a grip on how to bake and design amazing cakes for all types of occasions, the next step would be branding.

Having a skill is one thing, but turning it into a business is another one thing Nike has being able to accomplish. In other to have a business, you need to understand the fundamentals of business, which one basic thing is having a name otherwise called branding.

You need to have a brand name, a catchy name which people can easily use to identify you. After getting a name you need packaging and i mean that in the full sense of it. You need a nice logo, and packs with your brand name in order to properly deliver your cakes. Once all that has been done, you better get a social media presence.

Take Nike as a case study, she has over 31,000 followers on Twitter and most of the time what she does there is showcase her works and talk about cakes in an interesting manner that engages people. This lady has been able to this so well that she has a governors name as a list of satisfied clients she can add to her resume.

She's a superb baker alright, but one other secret i think she can't deny is her apt use of social media, how she carries her audience along and showcases her work is a thing to marvel at, hence her being a case study for this. You need social media presence, in fact i can't over emphasize how important it is in this present day and time.

To be a boss in anything you do, you need hard-work, dedication and smart thinking. According to Nike, C.E.O of The Cake Chancery, she started baking just about 6 years ago and she mastered the craft by going for different training to perfect her skills.

Contrary to what some people might believe, she has no background in fine arts, her artistic side woke up when she started baking professionally so it means you too can bake such amazing cakes when you put your mind to it. Nike fuels her focus by her zeal and passion for baking and she says managing customers is still something she is working on.

She passed an advice to upcoming bakers that they shouldn’t relent and consistency is what changes the game from zero to 100, so from an already established baker, in other to be a cake boss you need to be consistent. She really doesn't have a strategy for her business, so you don't have to worry you can just dive in and things might just fall in place.

According to Nike, who we see as a cake boss, social media has influenced her business a great deal because that’s where she gets to showcase her jobs and people retweet them all for awareness.

DATE OF WATCH DEONTAY WILDER AND TYSON FURY REMATCH

Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury stand-off

After a classic match between Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury on the of December 2018 that led to a draw between to the two heavy weights at Los Angeles, the duo are set to have a rematch on the 22nd of February 2020.

The rematch was announced on the 27th of December. The fight will be held at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. For those in Nigeria, we should be expecting the date of the match to be on the 23rd of February due to time difference of the two countries.

This fight could very well determine who among the two that the reigning heavy weight unified champion Anthony Joshua will be fighting with in the nearest future. The fight promises to be one of the biggest bouts this year.

According to Tyson Fury, he said “There’s no more ducking and diving,” “The date has been set, and the ‘Bomb Squad’ is about to be securely detonated and the real champion crowned as the world watches on for the most anticipated fight in years. “This is unfinished business for me, but come February 22, this dosser will finally get what’s coming to him, and I can’t wait!”.

While Deontay Wilder had this to say: “I’m happy and I’m excited that the rematch is finally happening. I want to give the fans what they want to see. “I’ve been doing it with my last three outings – Fury, Breazeale and Ortiz. Nigerian Afro Fusion artists Burna Boy has lost out on his Grammy nomination to Benin musician Angelique Kidjo in the 2020 Grammy held in America.

However, Angelique Kidjo acknowledged Burna Boy, dedicating the award to him. It would be recalled that in the past few days Burna Boy has being celebrating his nomination, with speculations going about that he just might have already won the award.

He got a lot of support from Nigerian artists as well who wished him good luck. Burna Boy was nominated in the category of Best World Album with his Album African Giant giving him that nomination.

MORE DRAMA UNFOLDS AS IT'S REVEALED THAT PERUZZI OWNS A LOT OF DAVIDO'S HIT SONGS

Davido, DMW, Peruzzi seem to be in a tight corner with Peruzzi's former record label Golden Entertainment owned by King Patrick.

According to King Patrick who resulted to bringing the issue to Twitter after battling it for about two years now with out no proper measures to come to a resolve, Peruzzi is still signed under his label and owns the label a lot of money for the investments they put on him over the years.

He narrated his ordeal between Peruzzi who he met in 2014 after Peruzzi dropped out from Med school and even assisted him to get his degree and that of Davido who signed Peruzzi out of probably what might have been ignorance or sheer arrogance to business procedures.

Now King Patrick has come out with another bomb shell as he recently revealed that Peruzzi is the owner of Risky, Fia, Mind, Ada. Big songs owned by Davido and Peruzzi actually sang these songs while under he's record label Golden Entertainment.

Seems he is taken his matter further by tagging Sony music, the international label company that signed Davido as he wants them to be aware of what one of theirs has done.

It's quite disturbing that instead of settling the issue accordingly, Peruzzi was caught on tape throwing tantrums and according to King Patrick, threatening him.
